Welcome to St Michael's Church, Flixton. We believe that worship is our primary purpose before God, and all else in our Christian life should flow from that. Christians have worshipped on this site for at least 900 years making this one of the ancient parishes of Manchester Diocese.
Saint Michael's Church, Flixton
348 Church Road
At St Michael's we have two small, but pretty parish rooms available for hire. The Croft is very popular all year round, and is an ideal place for meetings, quiet days or retreats and small gatherings.
Current groups include Knitting Group, Art Group, Craft Group, Sugarcraft and Book Group.
The Croft is a friendly and homely location with an accessible toilet, excellent kitchen, conservatory with patio doors leading out to the gated courtyard garden beyond which is the churchyard.
The Croft is popular with wedding couples as a friendly gathering point for families before the service and to serve tea and coffee during the photographs after the service.
There are two rooms which can be booked individually, although large groups and parties must hire both rooms.
St Michael's PCC set the prices for hiring Church Croft at their meeting on 25 November 2013.
Hire of large back room inc. kitchen access: £10/hr
Hire of small front room inc. kitchen access: £5/hr
